Welcome Pops’ Musicians
Here in the Green Room, you’ll find information on 2017-2018 Season rehearsal dates, locations, performance parking and instrument drop-off as the details become available during our summer hiatus.
The Pops is deeply saddened by the loss of longtime woodwind player Lloyd Connors just prior to the May 21st concert. We offer our condolences to his family during this difficult time. A Memorial Celebration to honor Lloyd’s life is in the works and details will be announced soon.
Flint Center at De Anza College

Musicians may park in De Anza College student parking lots. Student Parking Lots A and B are closest to Flint Center.
If you arrive on time for sound check on performance day, you may purchase a $3 One-Day Parking Permit from yellow machines located in each student parking lot. Machines take nickels, dimes, quarters, dollar coins and dollar bills.
Musicians who commit to playing all six performances of the 2017-2018 Season will receive a Season Parking Pass (paid for by the California Pops).

Note that One-Day Permits and Season Parking Passes are only valid in Flint Center De Anza College student lots. You will receive a ticket (minimum $45) if you park in a staff lot (or in a parking space marked “staff”)!
Instrument Drop-Off Area
On performance day—prior to sound check—musicians with large instruments may park temporarily in Staff Lot J near the rear entrance of Flint Center to unload and drop off instruments in the Flint Center Green Room. After unloading, please re-park your car in one of the Flint Center De Anza College student lots.
